Returns & Refunds Policy

At Claire Montréal Boutique we aim to keep every customer satisfied. If you would like to return an item, please review the policy below carefully.

1) Return Eligibility & Conditions

To qualify for a return, all of the following must apply:

  • You may only request a return after you have physically received the item.

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, including any international shipping charges.

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in original condition, with all original tags/labels attached.

  • Trying an item on is allowed, but wearing/using the item is not.

  • Returns may be refused if items appear worn, washed, altered, or damaged, or if tags are removed.

Fair use / excessive returns:
We reserve the right to refuse returns that show clear misuse of the return process (for example, ordering multiple sizes with the intention of returning most of them on a repeated basis).


2) Return Window

You must contact us to request a return within 14 days of delivery (based on the delivery date shown in tracking, where available).


3) How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at info@clairemontrealboutique.com within 14 days of receiving your item and include:

    • Your order number

    • The item(s) you want to return

    • The reason for return (optional, but helpful)

  2. If your return request is approved, we will provide the return instructions and the supplier return address.

Important: Depending on the product and fulfillment route, the return address may be outside of Canada (for example, to a fulfillment partner/supplier location). We will provide the correct address and instructions by email.


4) Return Shipping & Customs

  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • You are also responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs charges that may apply when returning an item internationally.

  • We strongly recommend using a shipping method with tracking (and insurance when available).

  • If a return package is lost in transit, we cannot process a refund without proof of delivery to the return address.


5) Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, and approved as meeting the conditions above, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 14 days after the return is received and approved.

  • Original shipping fees (if charged) are not refundable, unless required by applicable law or the return is due to an error on our side.


6) Delivery & Address Responsibility

  • We are not responsible for packages that show as delivered to the address provided at checkout.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery address is correct.

  • If you notice an address error, contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. After this period, changes may not be possible if the order is already being processed.
